BOK TOWER GARDENS

The Mission of Bok Tower Gardens, a non-profit operating foundation for "educational, charitable, literary and scientific activities" - is to perpetuate the dream of its founder and friends, to present mankind with "a spot which would reach out in its beauty to the people, and fill their souls with the quiet, the repose, the influence of the beautiful," and "through tree, shrub, flowers, birds, superb architecture, the music of the bells, and the sylvan setting" provide for visitors a retreat of "natural beauty, a refuge for the bird, and a place for the student of southern plant and bird life."

To carry out this mission, Bok Tower Gardens maintains for visitors a beautiful and historic public garden, a carillon tower and a wildlife sanctuary. Public education services, cultural and conservation activities, and membership programs reflect the scientific, horticultural, cultural and aesthetic role of the Gardens.

Bok Tower Gardens maintains a museum gift store that offers a wide selection of unique gifts, books and plants. They can be reached at:
